Thanks for re-electing me

-

THANKS you to the people of Ravensthorpe ward.

I would like to thank all those who supported me in the recent local elections and once again elected me as their local representative on the council

I would like to thank all 926 people who voted for me on a wet day,

It has been an honour in serving the people of West Town, Westwood and Ravensthorpe for the last 10 years and I want to continue this in the months ahead.

This is a clear message to the Labour Party in my ward that the people want to see action not statements, they want to be kept informed on what is happening in their community, unlike the Labour Party who only show their faces at elec- tion times. In 2015 we will have another Conservative councillor representing the local community in Ravensthorpe

The people of Ravensthorpe Ward have elected me for the fourth time because they know that I care for the community and that I am available to them at a time of need.

In the results I increased my majority to 335 votes in a election where the turnout was 33 per cent and this could not be possible without the support of the residents and family and friends.

I hold regular surgeries at Stafford Hall every Saturday in the morning from 10.30am to 11.30am so if any resident wishes to see can do so

Once again, thank you.

COUNCILLOR GUL NAWAZ
