FREE ADULT WRISTBAND AT WICKSTEED PARK

-

Wicksteed Park, the home of children’s play, has announced a price freeze for 2013. To celebrate the opening of all rides for the season on March 28, we’ve teamed up with the park to offer a free adult wristband with every child wristband purchased.

Founded by Charles Wicksteed, the inventor of the children’s playground, the Kettering park provides a fantastic mix of thrills and excitement in a stunning setting.

Wicksteed Park’s 147 acres of parkland is the largest free playground in Europe and boasts a beautiful lake which is the focus of a restoration project funded by a £ 1million Heritage Lottery grant.

It has also been given a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor - the world’s largest travel site - for being one of the UK’s top places to go for a day out based on visitor ratings.

The price freeze applies to all ride wristbands – which are just £ 17 per day for children, £ 13 per day for adults and £ 70 and £ 50 respectively for annual passes. It also applies to camping charges, which remain at either £ 15 or £ 20 per night for units under 20ft.

The park’s famous Edwardian Pavilion has also been restored to its former glory thanks to a major refurbishment to mark its 90th anniversary.
