We should be proud of Fergie and DMac, the miracle workers

-

Kasper Hauser stirred a few fans up with his comments about ‘ Posh not being paupers’ on this page last week... George Boyd on 10K a week is far below a lot of players in this league, their wages supported by parachute payments from the Premier league. Watford have exploited the loan transfer rules to bring in Italian players on huge wages supported by sister clubs in Italy. Palace have just received £ 15M for Zaha and kept him on loan. Other clubs are operating way beyond their means,. We are proud of what Posh have acheived.

It’s made out to be that Posh have paid a fortune on Ajose (£ 300K) and Sinclair (£ 100K). These are not fortunes by Championship standards. Even the £ 1.1m for Barnett isn’t huge for most of the other clubs in that league. As usual though, criticism dominates over actually getting down to London Road and supporting the team.

Yaxley Posh

Anyone who thinks Posh are not Championship paupers is deluded. Ferguson and MacAnthoy have worked miracles to get us where we are considering the budget they work on and the crowds we attract.

What a load of tripe you wrote about Chelsea fans. Aston Villa’s are far worse than ours so are Arsenal’s We are passionate about our club which is why we want to be rid of a manager who isn’t. You mind your own business.
