The 39th Peterborou­gh Beer Festival gets under way on Tuesday.... and we have got FIVE PAIRS of tickets to give away.

The not-to-be-missed annual event - which saw a whopping 90,000 pints of real ale sold last year - returns to the Embankment in Peterborou­gh from August 23 to 27.... that’s five days of real ale, cider, perry, wine, bottled beers, live music and great food, all in the heart of the city.

The festival will feature at least 400 real ales, with many festival specials, most served directly from the cask by gravity; five brewery bars; 60 Ciders and 20 Perrys; 150 Bottled Beers from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherland­s, Norway and USA; 50 English wines.

Souvenir glasses will once again be available as well as a full range of soft drinks.

New for 2016 at the beer festival are:

Key Keg Bar - featuring a range of 45 beers from around the UK, with 13 available at any one time.

Extended LocAle Bar - showcasing breweries from around the Peterborou­gh region.

Extra seating area - dedicated areas of table/benches inside and outside (weather dependent).
