Tributes planned for Claire and Charlotte

-

The shock of Claire and Charlotte Hart’s deaths, at the hands of husband and father respectively Lance Hart (57), has deeply affected all those who knew them.

In response, Luke (26) and Ryan (25) set up a “Memorial to Claire & Charlotte Hart” website where people could post their own memories of the pair.

A tribute from Dean Thompson read: “Claire, it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside you and for that alone I will be eternally grateful. You were always smiling, caring, truly an inspirational woman and Charlotte was fast-following in your footsteps.”

You can go on the website by visiting http://c.hart.muchloved.com/

Talks are also under way between the brothers of Charlotte Hart (19) and senior staff at Spalding High School over a permanent memorial to its former student.

Charlotte left the school last year after successfully completing A-levels in biology, geography and psychology, allowing her to start a midwifery degree at the University of Northampton.

Friends of Charlotte attended her funeral at All Saints Church, Moulton, on Tuesday, as did staffmembers and the school’s headmistress Michele Anderson.

She said: “The service on Tuesday was difficult for everyone and weare grateful that Ryan and Luke allowed members of the Spalding High School community to attend and pay their respects.

“The eulogy was moving and Ryan and Luke’s words will have not just touched everyone in the congregation, but also reflected just how much Charlotte and their mum Claire touched every one’s lives. We are currently discussing with Ryan and Luke how best to mark Charlotte’s time at the High School. There will bea permanent memorial to Charlotte here and as soon as we have decided the details and date, we will notify her friends via our website.”

There are also plans to celebrate Charlotte’s passion for horse riding, possibly at this year’s Moulton Park Show.

Charlotte was a regular visitor to Fourwinds Equestrian Centre in West Pinchbeck whose founder and owner Paula Leverton was also at the funeral service. Paula said :“We have discussed some ideas of how best to remember Charlotte, one of which is to sponsor a class at the Moulton Park Show next month, possibly the horse and hound class if the organisers allow us too,”
