Paws for thought this Christmas

-

Christmas is a stressful time for most of us, our pace of life increases, our to do list gets bigger, our cupboards get over stocked with items we don’t really need and we overspend on absolutely everything, all for the hype of one day.

We ask that you stop for a moment and “paws for thought” about the cats and kittens in our care and those waiting to come into us.

Christmas for us, is like any other day and our work still continues to help our feline friends who otherwise would be cold, hungry and homeless.

Last week, little Seth and his siblings came into our care. He has a rare skin condition that requires him and his siblings to be in isolation and barrier nursed. He has small lesions over his body, but the eye area is by far the worst and is terribly sore for him. This means that neither he nor his siblings will be spending their first Christmas in their forever homes.

Whilst Seth will make a full recovery, he has quite a journey ahead of him, which will take time, require treatment and many visits to the vets. Our time, patience, love and dedication costs nothing, but food, litter and veterinary treatment does. As a charity, we rely solely on the generosity and kindness of the public, to help us continue our work. We have set up a just Giving page to highlight Seth’s plea and with your help we can give Seth and all of the other cats and kittens in our care, the extra special Christmas they deserve.

By just giving £2 you will buy Seth a Christmas toy; £5 will buy his siblings some toys to play with too. £15 will fill their three hungry tummies with two tasty nutritious meals a day, for a week. £30 will help fund the next veterinary treatment he requires.

Any monies raised over our target will be used to help other cats and kittens in our care have an extra special Christmas.
