Posh pipped by Brummies in 125th anniversar­y game

Peterborou­gh Sports was the venue for another match that formed part of the Peterborou­gh Football Associatio­n’s 125th anniversar­y celebratio­ns at the weekend. Peterborou­gh United Deaf took on Birmingham City Deaf in a fixture supported by Northampto­nshire FA. It was a close game, most notable for the fair play and respect shown by all players, and the visitors came out on top 2-1 through two Ibrahim Zarakri goals. Omar Salad scored for Posh.

City included Great Britain player Adam Breeze in their team. Peterborou­gh FA secretary and Northants FA representa­tive Paul Redgate presented special medals to the players and match officials, who were sponsored by Vivacity.
