Bartlett Automotive expansion sees new workshop open in Peterborough

Bartlett Automotive – your local independent BMW and MINI specialist, currently located on St Peters Road in Huntingdon - is excited to announce the opening of a second workshop based at Unit 4 Lakeside Court, Flaxley Road, Kingston Park, Peterborough.

The new Peterborough branch opened its doors for this first time last weekend part one of a series of strategic developments for Bartlett Automotive as it works to strengthen its position as the leading independent BMW and MINI specialist and the only 1 link network service provider in Cambridgeshire.

The business was launched in August 2009. Owned and managed by husband and wife team Damian and Natalie Boyes Bartlett. The business currently employs a team of 11 including five technicians, a workshop controller, branch manager, customer service advisor, and an administration assistant.

Natalie Boyes Bartlett, Operations Director says: “Both myself and Damian have strong connections to Peterborough, and we have been pleased to witness the rapid growth and investment into the city over the last few years,.

“With the success of our existing workshop in Huntingdon, opening a second site here in Peterborough makes perfect sense”.

The new Peterborough workshop will create six new jobs over a 12 month period, and will contain four state of the art technician bays plus a separate dedicated MOT, geometry and tyre changing area.

Natalie continues: “Bartlett Automotive has identified Peterborough as an area where a BMW and MINI specialist is much needed.

“We offer our customers a low cost alternative to the main dealerships, our technicians are all trained by BMW and with years of experience in house we know the brand inside and out. By using OEM parts and oils (as supplied by BMW), but with reduced labour costs, Bartlett can do the same work as the main dealer for less”.

The European Block Exemption Ruling gives the customer a choice on where to have their vehicle serviced, so using an Independent garage like Bartlett Automotive will not invalidate any manufacturer warranty providing the service regimes etc are still adhered to.
