Jorja Matchwick of Peterborough Rugby Club’s girls section scored a try and kicked eight conversions as East Midlands Under 15s wrapped up their autumn series with another victory.

She and Borough team-mate Jessica Moorfoot helped the side to a massive 96-0 victory over Leicestershire at Kettering on Sunday, making it three wins out of three for the representative side.

Also on Sunday, Borough’s Daisy Hudson, Eva Turner and JessicaWilson were in the East Midlands Under 18 girls squad that beat Staffordshire 48-5 and Leicestershire 29-5 in a triangular tournament at Kettering.

Borough Ladies made it four wins out of four in their Women’s RFU National Conference League division on Sunday.

They were away to Sleaford in Midlands North Two and cruised to a 37-0 win thanks to tries by captain Mel Fulcher, Michelle Bark, Nat Elliott, Steph Warlow (2), Sarah Winder and Jess Robinson.

Playing some very good rugby, with safe hands, they reached half-time 25-0 up.

In the second half their defence had a lot more work to do but they kept a determined Sleaford side scoreless.

Coach Rich Parsons chose Laura Phillips as his forwardof-the-match and Nat Elliott as his back-of-the-match.

Borough’s last game of 2017 is at Fengate on Sunday against league leaders Mellish, (kick-off 2 pm). Borough are second in the table.
