Radic reaches 40 goals in nine games for rampant Rangers
Junior football - Peterborough Junior Alliance League
They don’t do goal difference in the Peterborough Junior Alliance League . . . but if they did then Malborne Rangers Under 14s would take some beating.
In just nine league games so far this season they’ve amassed an extraordinary 98 goals with just eight conceded.
And even more remarkable, one player has scored 40 times.
That’s hot-shot Vilian Radic who boosted his tally with a six-shooter on Sunday.
His eye-catching haul helped Malborne to a 22-0 victory against Blackstones to make it nine big-scoring wins from nine games. They top the Division Three table by three points and have played one game less than closest rivals Boston.
Substitute Michal Pawelek also helped himself to six goals in the Blackstones bashing with the rest coming from Oren Spivak (4), Harrison King (3), Kalani Kenton, Ricardo Jamanca and Ethan Clasper.
Two other players to hit double hat-tricks on Sunday were Adam Crane and Liam Simper - both in Under 13 Division Four.
Crane came off the bench to do it for Long Sutton in a 15-0 win over Crowland while Simper’s six-pack helped Hungate Rovers to a 19-1 win against Parkside Athletic.
The League’s top individual scoring feat on Sunday came in Under 12 Division Two where Ollie Foley struck a magnificent seven for Whittlesey Blue in a 14-1 win over Bourne Town Red.
Four players - Mackenze Johnson, Nicholas Morgan, Mitchell Cooper and Zak Lindsay - scored hat-tricks for Bourne Town Claret Under 12s in a 16-0 win over Blackstones in Division Three.
