Sisters return for Spring concert

- by Laura Polkinghorne

Soprano twins Naomi and Hannah Moxon, also known as Classical Reflection, are back in their home town of Peterborough for their spring concert at The Marriott Hotel on Sunday, March 18.

The evening will feature songs from their hit album Echo, as well as songs from West End musicals. This will be mixed with some classical crossover hits, where the girls will cover well known songs, such as You Raise Me Up by Westlife.

The girls will be joined by a fantastic line-up of guests, including world renowned violinist and conductor, Steve Bingham, classical guitarist, Chris Somerfield, and musical theatre tenor, James De Silva. The 22-year-old, identical twins, are classically trained and originally from Longthorpe. They appeared on BBC’s The Voice in 2015, where they reached the battle stage of the show.

Since then, they have released two albums. They successful toured nationwide with their debut album, The Vow. Their second album, Echo received national coverage support on BBC radio stations and Classic FM, and reached Number 3 in the Classical Charts last year.

As a duo, Classical Reflection have performed alongside artists including classical soprano, Rebecca Newman and Britain’s Got Talent winner, Charlotte Jaconelli, as well as stars Anton Du Beke and Aled Jones.

Naomi and Hannah have also recently starred in Bloodwise’s concert Christmas with the Stars at The Albert Hall, last December and Sunday at The Musicals in Convent Garden, last November.

The girls will be returning to Peterborough for their own concert, after the success of their album launch concert last year at the cathedral, which was also host to several special guests.

The event begins at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15. For tickets visit www.classicalreflection.co.uk/ or call 01733 452336.
