More than half of pupils at Nene Park Academy (55 per cent) achieved grades 4-9 in English and maths, an increase on last year’s results. Seventy per cent of pupils achieved a pass grade in English and 62 per cent achieved a pass grade in maths. Rosie Somers achieved an impressive 11 grades between 9 and 7, Dev Mukherjee achieved a total of nine 9-7 grades and Josh Allen received seven 9-7 grades. Steve Howard, principal at Nene Park Academy, said: “We are incredibly proud of our students for achieving such brilliant results this year. Their consistent hard work and dedication has definitely paid off.

“It is also great to see our members of staff flourishin­g and I am delighted to see some amazing results in a wide variety of subjects this year. I would like to thank all our teachers, support staff and the local community for encouragin­g and supporting our students. I wish them all the best of luck going forward.” Particular­ly impressive results were obtained in the performing arts, with 93 per cent of pupils studying drama, and 89 per cent of pupils studying music, achieving a pass grade. Pupils studying the single sciences also achieved significan­t success.
