Ken Stimpson Community School

-

Ken Stimpson Community School has risen again in results from previous years across a number of subjects. More than 70 per cent of pupils gained a grade 4 or higher in English and 68 per cent in mathematics. Seventeen exceptional grades (grade 9) were awarded to pupils across English, maths, science and history. Bryan Erwin, principle of Ken Stimpson, said: “We are pleased to see continued rising standards in English, mathematics and Ebacc subjects this summer despite the more demanding changes to the GCSE system.

“I am delighted for the students and staff. Standards continue to rise against previous years in the basics measure (students gaining both English and mathematics at a standard or strong pass). Seventeen exceptional grades reflect the high standard of teaching and learning within the school.”
