North Carolina singer/ songwriter Sam Beam aka Iron & Wine has for sometime been one of the leading lights of America’s alternative pop scene. A fine tunesmith, his indie folk reached a peak with his last album, the 2018 Grammy nominated Beast Epic. Relatively hot on the heels comes this mini album/EP with songs that were written at the same time as those on his last album. The six tracks showcase a variety of themes and styles - from the passion and urgency of the single What Hurts Worse to the almost frivolous Rock And Roll Heroes. Fans will also welcome the inclusion of live favourite Waves Of Galveston which has never had a release before. It serves as a fine companion to big brother Beast Epic.
