Clothing giant opens first German store

Peterborough-based fashion retailer Yours Clothing is raising its presence overseas with the opening of its first standalone store in Germany.

Yours Clothing, named as the UK’s fastest growing plus-size fashion retailer, has expanded its international operations with the new 1,500 sq ft store in Thier-Galerie shopping mall, in Dortmund, creating eight jobs.

The store opens on Saturday and comes four months after the firm launched its German language e-commerce website.

Yours Clothing plans to open other stores in Germany and across Europe as part of its international growth plans.

Karen Luton, retail director, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our first standalone German store, following the growing appetite for the brand in Germany and positive response from customers online.”
