Rob wrecks Frieston

Premier Division leaders Spalding edged a low-scoring affair at Frieston. Opener Jon Manton (59) was the only Spalding batsman to make any impression as they were bowled out for 149 in 42.2 overs. That surprisingly turned out to be enough for victory as Frieston were then skittled for just 123 in 41.1 overs. Rob Simpson with 6-40 off 11 overs was the matchwinner. Spalding are seven points clear of Woodhall Spa at the top.
