PLAYERS TO WATCH

Former Posh boss Grant McCann has picked up a forward gem on loan from Leeds in the shape of 19 year-old Mallik Wilks. Wilks scored in each of his first three Donny appearances. McCann is not the only familiar face in the Donny camp. Tommy Rowe was a top Posh performer in the Championship and League One in a five-year spell at London Road, while maverick striker Paul Taylor has joined up with McCann again. Taylor played a season at Posh under McCann in 2016-17. He then joined Bradford City, but left the Bantams for personal reasons midway through last season.

Former Posh youth team left-back Danny Andrew is also at Donny. Striker John Marquis was reportedly the subject of interest from Posh in the summer.
