POSH ARE UP FOR THE CUP
Manager Steve Evans will make sure Peterborough United are up for the FA Cup again this season.
Evans, who is proud of his own FA Cup record, won’t allow complacency or over-confidence to be a problem when Posh travel to non-league Bromley for a first round tie on Saturday.
The manager is confident however that his players will bounce back strongly from last weekend’s disappointing display and defeat in a League One game at Wycombe.
A first away loss of the season dropped Posh out of the automatic promotion places, but Evans’ men haven’t lost back-to-back games all season.
“I love the FA Cup and I’ll make sure the players embrace it again this season,” Evans stated. “Last season Posh fans had a great day out at Aston Villa and we want to deliver more of the same.
“Bromley will make it tough for us on their artificial surface, but we wil be fine as long as we start with the right attitude.
“I’m confident that will be the case. We have a strong group of players this season who have always reacted well to a bad performance. They need to again.”
