Man dies after city collision

A man died days after being struck by a car in Peterborough. Andrej Nazarov, (37),was walking along Eastern Avenue in Dogsthorpe when he was involved in the incident with a black Mercedes at about 7pm on Saturday, November 24. Mr Nazarov was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment, but he died at about 10pm on Thursday (November 29).

A man in his 30s was arrested under suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has now been released under investigation.
