The Trust’s Wild Pop Up Shop will be the first ever third/voluntary sector shop in the Queensgate centre, and will have a fun window feature Homes for Wildlife, with ‘For Sale’ boards for des res boxes and houses on sale for all of Peterborough’s wild residents: agreeable annexes for prickly friends, taking the first step on the rung of the bird property ladder - everything that Peterborough’s insect, bat, bird or hedgehog might desire and require. Among alternative ways to give one solution for a meaningful, thoughtful gift which will last throughout the year and benefit local wildlife and the environment is the gift of Wildlife Trust membership, this year available as a Membership Gift Box on sale in the shop – inside is a copy of the latest Local Wildlife magazine, a toy buddy badger, a torch and various other goodies – and the recipient will have a year’s membership of the Trust.

The shop will be run by Trust staff and volunteers.
