Leading planning consultants are voted as the nation’s number one company

A leading firm of commercial agents has been named as the country’s top consultants. Savills planning division, which has a team in Stuart House, City Road, Peterborough, was heralded as the nation’s number one planning consultant by Planning magazine, which has just completed its annual consultancy survey.

It is the fourth year running Savills has taken the number one spot.

The survey says Savills is the largest employer of chartered town planners with a total of 179. Lynette Swinburne, head of the Savills Peterborough planning team, said: “This is an unprecedented run at the top and I am grateful to everyone in the Peterborough team for making such a great contribution to maintaining our position once again this year. “This underlines our strength across all the main land use sectors allied to our unrivalled coverage in 21 locations.”
