Tis the season for coughs and sniffles... especially when you’ve got two little germbags in your household. Thornton Towers should have been on lockdown this week to stop all the bugs getting out.

T2 started it bringing home a cough that sounded like a pack of angry dogs.

We’ve taught our kids to share but it always backfires at this time of year and instructions to keep their bugs to themselves fall on bunged up ears.

T2 has got all imaginative about his cough.

It turns out he has a good bee living in his stomach who is doing his best to hunt out the cough.

He also has a more practical side and told Mrs T: “If you lose me again (don’t ask.. there was short but very scary, er, episode in Tesco at Hampton!), you can find me by listening for my cough and following it.’’

I, of course, am also now sneezing and spluttering and will be until May 2019!
