Claims in video do not add up

There’s a video doing the rounds on Facebook issued by the local Conservative Party saying that Labour has let local people down.

Last time I checked Peterborough City Council and the Government were both Tory. It’s anybody’s guess what they are referring to.

Perhaps our local Tories are ashamed of their own record.

Police numbers have been cut and crime is on the up.

School budgets have been cut and our schools are at the bottom of the league tables.

Millions have been lent to big businesses and there is no cash left to deal with fly tipping. Don’t be fooled – our local council is being run into the ground by the Tories and, if their plan is to trick people into thinking otherwise, they will fail at that too.
