Veteran official Darren Drysdale is the referee at the ABAX Stadium on Saturday.

It’s his second appearance at Posh this season as he also took charge of the 4-0 home hammering by Barnsley in October.

Drysdale has refereed 24 Football League games so far this season and issued 90 yellow cards and three red cards.

Drsydale reached 143 cautions and six dismissals in 46 outings last season. Posh Youths will host League Two side Bury in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup at the ABAX Stadium next Thursday (January 17, 7pm kick off ). Tickets are priced at £3 for adults, £1 for seniors 60+ and under 18s and are on sale at the usual club outlets now. The Main Stand will be open for this fixture.

Posh won at Premier League Huddersfie­ld Town in the third round.

Posh striker Ivan Toney has been nominated for the League One player-of-the-month award for December.

Toney scored five goals in five games in the month culminatin­g in a hat-trick at Accrington Stanley on December 29.

His rivals for the award are Doncaster striker John Marquis, Luton defender Matty Pearson and Portsmouth winger Ronan Curtis.

Toney also scored four FA Cup goals and one Checkatrad­e Trophy goal in December.

Posh Reserves drew 2-2 with MK Dons in a Central League game at the club’s training ground this week.
