Nature reserve is top in survey
Kings Dyke Nature Reserve has been named the most biodiverse out of 50 nature sites in the UK. It follows Bioblitz, an independent wildlife audit led by BBC presenter Chris Packham. Volunteers at the nature reserve recorded 1,139 different species of wildlife during the survey. Philip Parker, who runs the nature reserve for Forterra, said: “We hope that the research team’s findings will help us to educate and inspire future visitors to the site.”
