Star end long winless run

Peterborough Northern Star won for the first time in 14 Premier Division games as a goal from Ewan Fieldhouse was enough to see off bottom club Wellingborough Whitworth at the Branch Bros Stadium. Pinchbeck United stayed fourth after a Jordan Nuttell goal beat Desborough, but Holbeach United lost ground after a 3-2 defeat at Cogenhoe with a 3-1 reverse at Oadby. Jonny Lockie scored twice at Cogenhoe.
