Posh win the county cup

Peterborough United Ladies were crowned county cup champions on Sunday. The East Midlands League Premier Division title-chasers beat Kettering Town 4-2 on penalties in the final at Compton Park after the game finished 1-1. Kettering went ahead in the 85th minute and Posh equalised in the 89th minute when Megan Parrett latched on to an Amy Challis through-ball to level it up. Jess Driscoll was voted player-of-the-match.
