The local lads roll of honour
Dick Kwiatowski was born in Peterborough in 1948 to a Polish father and German mother.
He progressed through the Posh youth team ranks to sign a professional contract in 1967. Kwiatowski played in midfield or defence, making 62 Posh appearances before he was released in 1972 when he went on to play for Stamford and Holbeach. Kwiatowksi halped Stamford to the FA Vase finals at Wembley in 1976 & 1980. He also managed Bourne Town before retiring and becoming a bank manager.
