Come and join the COPs
Even the pandemic couldn’t stop City of Peterborough Swimming Club (COPs) looking at new and creative ways to engage and maintain focus for its club members, writes Emma Stevenson.
Over the past five months COPs have adapted and revised training schedules in line with Swim England and Uk Government guidance, coming together using resources like weekly zoom calls, landandonlinestrength and conditioning classes and cooking tutorials.
Asswimmersreturntothe pool a renewed focus is now on looking for new members to join this competitive club.
COPs is ranked in the top 10 swimming clubs in the country with one of the county’s mostexperienced leadership and coaching teams.

COPs head coach Ben Negus said : “We are proud to be back in a position to provide free trials to Peterborough’s budding swimmers.

“Our team is a family, and we are looking for new members with aspirations who love swimming to join.
