Car dealer reopens after £2m revamp
Vehicle retailer gears up with new look
A Peterborough car retailer has reopened its premises after carrying out a £2 million refurbishment.
Marshall Volvo Peterborough has expanded its showroom facilities at Mallory Road as well as adding in a host of new services.
Work on the refurbishment began last year but despite pandemic restrictions and setbacks has remained on schedule for completion. The new state-of-the-art showroom features a signature lounge area for customers with new glazing creating a seamless transition between the showroom and workshops that allows owners to see work in progress on the vehicles.
The retailer has also expanded its offer with a larger display of petrol, fully electric and hybrid cars as well as its approved used models on the forecourt.
Dominic Meacham, general manager at Marshall Volvo Peterborough, said: “We are delighted to officially open the doors to our new home, not least because this impressive new development reflects our commitment to improving customer experiences and efficiency.
He added: “After the record-breaking successes of our new Volvo models over the last year, we felt this was the perfect time to invest in an impressive new showroom that puts electrification at the forefront of our approach.”
The dealership has also worked to streamline the services it provides to car owners to halve waiting times.
Now the same technician will liaise with the customer from booking through to explaining service details.
Two technicians will work on each car cutting the time it takes to carry out a service.
