Celebrations as marketing firm wins award for its new service
It’s celebrations at a Peterborough marketing company after it secured a prestigious award.
Absolutely Write, in Workspace House, in Maxwell Road, has been named the UK Marketing Specialist of the Year in the annual international Business Excellence Awards.
The company, which is led by former Peterborough Telegraph journalist Arup Biswas, won the award for its ‘Zero Budget Marketing’ service.
Receiving the award, Mr Biswas said: “I am delighted that we have been named the UK Marketing Specialist of the Year for a service that is transforming how business owners see and market themselves.
“It is my strong belief that most marketing efforts fail or deliver a poor return on investment not because the activity itself is wrong, but because business owners aren’t effectively promoting the elements of their products or services that matter the most to their potential customers.
Mr Biswas added: “And the main reason for this is completely understandable.
“They are just too close to their business to see it impartially and as a prospective buyer does.
“This award along with the incredible client testimonials we receive, demonstrates that what we are doing is important and is making an amazing impact.”
Absolutely Write creates a bespoke ‘Pre-Marketing’ recommendations report for each client it works with, detailing the factors it needs to be promoting to truly resonate with its potential customers, make an impact, and stand out from its competitors.
And the Zero Budget Marketing service has been designed specifically for small businesses and entrepreneurs who are looking for quick results at an affordable fixed fee.
Client Andy Middleton of Nottingham-based Graphite Media said: “The Pre-Marketing report that Absolutely Write did for us was incredible.
He said: “The level of detail they went to and thoughtful suggestions, gave us food for thought which was exactly what we needed as it’s hard to see the ‘wood for the trees’ when it’s your own business.
Mr Middleton added: “The promise of zero budget marketing was spot on as all the changes suggested will cost us absolutely nothing.”.
