Peterborough’s museum, libraries and Flag Fen have lots to offer families over the long Easter school break.
Dinosaur Egg Hunt at Flag Fen
April 1-16, 10am – 4pm (last entry at 3.15pm)
Eight dinosaurs have laid their eggs around Flag Fen’s parkland, can you help them find out which eggs belong to which dinosaur? A fun twist on an Easter Egg Hunt that all the family can enjoy.

Spring has sprung at Peterborough Libraries
Inspired by the season, enjoy spring themed stories, create a flower sun catcher, decorate a fluffy cotton-wool lamb, and construct a paper plate bird nest to take home. That’s not all, try the trail around the library, looking for signs of spring to earn a chocolatey reward.

Club Viva April 3-14, excluding bank holidays
The clubs run from 8.30am – 5.30pm for children aged 4 to 11 years at Hampton Leisure Centre and at Werrington Leisure Centre. (£25 per day).
An action packed with a wide range of different activities to choose from, plus plenty of time for free play (inside and out), they also have a daily theme to look forward to including, science, sport and nature.

The Wild Escape April 4 and 11, 10am – 4pm
Delve deeper into the natural world with The Wild Escape at Peterborough Museum. Discover the natural history collections and be inspired to learn more about the wildlife around you.
There will be opportunities to get hands on with the museum’s specimens and learn why animals are so colourful. Plus, there’ll be lots of creative crafts.
