MEDICAL DRAMA Malpractic­e, ITV & STV, 9pm, Sunday

World Production­s must have had a flop at some point, but at the moment, it feels as if everything it touches turns to gold. It’s the company behind Line of Duty, Vigil, Karen Pirie and many more; its latest offering, Malpractic­e, is also winning fans and plaudits. Much of the drama’s success is down to the taut script from Grace Ofori-Attah, who spent 10 years as an NHS doctor, allowing her to add more than a dose of realism and expertise to the story. Niamh Algar is also on top form as Dr Lucinda Edwards, who’s in the firing line this week when the inquest into Edith Owusu’s death begins.
