Apprentice winner’s business hits milestone
Peterborough’s The Apprentice winner has hosted a golden celebration for his Trade Mastermind staff to mark a milestone for the business.
Entrepreneur Joseph Valente, who founded Trade Mastermind just over three and a half years ago, put on champagne and cake and a golden confetti celebration for the 40 employees.
It was a thank you for their work that saw the business hit its first one million pound monthly revenue mark in April. Trade Mastermind, based at the Brightfield Business Hub, in Orton Southgate, seeks to help sole traders and small businesses in the construction sector to achieve fast and remarkable growth.
Mr Valente, who won the BBC reality show in 2015, said: “This is really special for us as we’ve hit our first one million pound in revenue month.
“That’s a real credit to my team who do a fantastic job and work incredibly hard.
“It goes to show how effective our business is at solving the problems for the tradespeople and the business owners who we teach to scale up and grow.
“And if it wasn’t for our customers we wouldn’t be in this position right now, so I’m grateful to them too.
He added: “But this business has only just been established for just over three and a half years, and I’m proud that we have been able to pioneer a sector in training and development.
“Trade Mastermind is flying the flag to help level up these small businesses, giving them the skills they need to go from technician to businessmen.”
