Charity to hold walks therapy

A charity will hold its first health walk of the new year in Aberdeen at the weekend.

Cancer Charity Clan’s walking groups allow those affected by cancer to talk to support staff in a relaxed environment while enjoying some gentle exercise.

The first walk of 2014 will take place tomorrow from Clan House in Westburn Road at 10am.

Walkers will be led by four of Clan’s support volunteers who have been trained as part of the Walk Aberdeen and Paths for All scheme.

The walks last for about an hour with tea and coffee available afterwards.
