Pupils set for business
Youngsters from an Aberdeen primary school will enjoy lessons with a difference this year after t eaming up with a neighbouring company.
Gilcomstoun School and Maritime Assurance and Consulting (MAC) have paired up to give pupils a taste of life in the business world.
Children have benefited from the scheme after they were kitted out with high-visibility wristbands tokeepthem safe as they go to and from school.
Now, youngsters can look forward to some fun lessons as workers from the firm – which last term gave a talk on safety.
Stewart Duncan, head teacher, said: “It is fantastic to have the supportofMAC– theenthusiasm towards our work at the school has been wonderful to see.”
