Global rolefor KPMG’s Nimmo
International professional services giant KPMG said yesterday it had appointed Scottish partner Blair Nimmo as global head of insolvency.
Mr Nimmo has headed up KPMG’s restructuring practice in the UK since March last year and continues in that job alongside his new global post.
He takes over the international role from Richard Heis , who retired from the firm earlier in the year.

Mr Nimmo, who trained with Cooper and Lybrand’s restructuring practice, has been at the heart of many of Scotland’s most high-profile business administrations and liquidations since joining KPMG in 1991.
