Builder’s workers on Kenya mission
The UK’s leading offsite timber system manufacturer, Stewart Milne Timber Systems, is sending seven of its employees on a charity mission to help build new homes in Africa with an Aberdeen-based charity.
The volunteers will depart for Kenya tomorrow and join 29 other people to deliver the project.
Co-founder of the Gathimba Edwards Foundation Myles Edwards highlighted how important the company’s support is forthecharity.
He said: “By offering to send qualified, experienced builders and tradesmen to Kenya is a massive help. They have also donated personal protection equipment and thousands of pounds worth of tools, I have been truly blown away by the firm’s generosity.”
