Half dozen elected to SPFL board
Six representatives from league clubs were elected on to the SPFL board yesterday.
Motherwell chief executive Alan Burrows, Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell and Dundee managing director John Nelms were voted to represent the interests of the 12 Premiership clubs.
Warren Hawke, chief executive at Morton, and Falkirk director Martin Ritchie were nominated from Championship clubs, while Stranraer chairman Iain Dougan will cover League 1 and League 2.
The SPFL also announced an increase in TV viewing figures, up from 207,000 in 2016-17 to 223,500 last season.
