The Press and Journal (Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire) - - LOCAL NEWS -

Three north-east men acted like “1920s gangsters” when they abducted a man in a bid to reclaim money owed to them.

Gary Milne, 19, Ross Alexander, 29, and Toms Garavins, 18, kidnapped Ethan Robertston in Aberdeen on October 23.

They drove him around in a BMW and demanded he phone his father to get the money handed over.

At Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday, Sheriff Jack Brown ordered Milne, of Cornhill Drive, to carry out 165 hours of unpaid work. Garavins, of Laws Road, and Alexander, of Alexander Terrace, were given 300 hours of unpaid work. All three were placed under supervision for two years.
