William introduced as ‘not the ginger one’

Glimpse at finale of Bodyguard

-

The Duke of Cambridge has teamed up with TV star and children’s author David Walliams to present prizes to primary school children who have made progress in building their confidence.

William arrived at Birmingham University to carry out the first of three engagements in the West Midlands yesterday to rapturous applause.

But he was greeted by Walliams, the host of the ceremony, with a few jokes at his expense, which prompted laughter from the children.

In his opening speech, the Britain’s Got Talent judge said of William: “He’s not the ginger one, he’s the other one.

“But he is the most important one – even though George Clooney didn’t show up to his wedding.”

William made a speech at the National SkillForce Prince William Award Graduation Ceremony which celebrated the achievements of children from across the United Kingdom. David Budd looks concerned while covered in blood in first-look pictures from the finale of BBC1 drama Bodyguard.

Budd, played by Richard Madden, appears to be at the centre of the manhunt for the killer of Home Secretary Julia Montague, played by Keeley Hawes.

Meanwhile, Bodyguard will be available on Netflix, it has been announced. The streaming service will make it available outside of the UK and Ireland and China from October 24, ITV said.
