Driver left man injured

A 60-year-old woman who drove over a man lying on the road, causing him “life-changing injuries”, because she mistook him for a “guy or scarecrow” has been jailed for 12 months.

Marian Watt, of South Town Road, Alton, Hampshire, was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court after she was found guilty of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
