Tanning show at Tate Modern

Tate Modern will stage the first large-scale exhibition of the work of Dorothea Tanning for 25 years.

The retrospective will be the first to span the artist’s seven-decade career and will bring together 100 works from around the world.

It will explore her first encounters with surrealism in New York in the 1930s
