Iceland’ s TV ad is blocked

Supermarket Iceland has had its Christmas ad blocked from TV screens as too political.

The advert, voiced by Emma Thompson and originally produced by Greenpeace, features a cartoon orangutan and highlights the plight of the rainforest.

Adverts for broadcast on TV and video on demand are approved or rejected by Clearcast.
