Crackdown urged on sugary food
Restrictions on the placement of unhealthy food and drinks in prominent locations of supermarkets are urgently needed, health campaigners have said.
The Obesity Health Alliance said it visited five major UK supermarkets and found 43% of all food and drink products in prominent areas such as store entrances and checkout areas were for food and drinks that were high in sugar.
