Dismayed at debacle over Brexit draft

-

SIR, – With the draft vote on Brexit being accepted by the Cabinet, I thought this would be the start of going forward. However, to my dismay, I think this will never happen after some Cabinet members agreed to the draft and then resigned. But not only have we a Labour party interested only in it being a failure so they can get into power, the Liberals are against the whole thing and want another vote as they didn’t like the first one. And then we have the SNP who are dead against it, and even if they had got a customs union and single market status, they would still not have signed up for it, as Nicola Sturgeon would have found some other reason. There is also no chance of the SNP MPs voting for it – they are just followers of the SNP and do as they are told. Ian Gray, Viewhill Cottage, Mosstowie, Elgin
