Clach keeping up with keeper loan deal

- BY DAVE EDWARDS

With three goalkeepers out injured, Clach manager Brian MacLeod has agreed an emergency loan with Strathspey Thistle for goalkeeper Ryan MacLeod ahead of this afternoon’s home game against Wick.

MacLeod has also arranged a short-term deal with Rothes to bring in former Fort forward Iain MacLellan and both players could feature this afternoon.

Academy will miss the injured Grant Steven and his central defensive partner Alan Farquhar, who is ill.

Brora Rangers need to keep on winning to keep their Highland League title dream alive, starting with today’s home match against Huntly.

Brora’s only absentee is Paul Brindle with a hamstring injury. New signing, Scott Davidson, has recovered from flu and is expected to make his debut.

Forres full back Calum Howarth faces a fitness test on his ankle before his side’s home match against Formartine.

Strathspey Thistle have a fitness doubt over Craig Mainland but fellow defender Chris Innes is out with an ankle injury for Fort William’s visit to Seafield Park.

Three experienced Fort players are unavailable due to work commitments with defenders Darren Quigg and Andy Martin and midfielder Michael Gillespie all absent.

Keith will be without midfielder Ryan Keir, who has a cruciate injury, for the visit of Turriff United to Kynoch Park.

Buckie Thistle midfielder Kevin Fraser may make the bench for the Moray derby at Victoria Park against Lossiemouth, while Sam Robertson, Craig Dorrat, Lewis MacKinnon and Scott Adams are all expected to return.
