Staff and pupils at Turriff Primary and Nursery have been praised by inspectors.

It stated: “Although some staff were new, they worked well as a team. The management team and staff were committed and highly motivated to provide the best early learning and childcare.”

Following the previous inspection, Turriff Primary had been rated as “good” in all categories and head teacher Fiona Eaton said staff are committed to “raising standards further”.

She added: “I am extremely proud of our nursery team and early years practitioners, ably led by depute head teacher Claire Smith.”
