ove Rangers continued their storming start to the League 2 season with a deserved victory against Cowdenbeath at Central Park.
A Mitch Megginson strike and a double from Fraser Aird gave the visitors all three points with former Peterhead winger David Cox on target for the Blue Brazil.
Cove manager Paul Hartley said: “We showed great character. We started the game well but then conceded a goal.
“But we kept playing and we were patient and worked the ball.
“It was a tough fixture but we showed we are a unit and we showed our quality and our class in the final third. We like to play positive football so I am really pleased with how we performed.”
Hartley’s men were on the top from the first whistle with Blair Yule and Declan Glass going close in the early stages.
But it was the hosts who made the breakthrough when Cox got on the end of a Harvey Swann cross to nod home after 15 minutes.
