See the world built in LEGO bricks, 10am-4pm; The Crit­ter Keeper with his ex­otic an­i­mal work­shop. A chance to view a se­lec­tion of weird and won­der­ful crit­ters, learn more about them and if you are lucky, get up close and per­sonal with them (tick­ets from venue or on­line at www.gar­i­ochher­itage.co.uk), 10.30am and noon.

Over the week­end, The Fife Arms Ho­tel in Brae­mar will host a stel­lar cast of names from the world of fash­ion, led by Jus­tine Pi­cardie, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar.

Jus­tine will be joined by Scot­tish fash­ion de­signer Christo­pher Kane and Ori­ole Cullen, cu­ra­tor of fash­ion and tex­tiles at the V&A, as well as Ed­in­burgh tex­tile de­signer Aram­inta Camp­bell, who de­signed the tar­tan and tweed for The Fife Arms.

In a se­ries of con­ver­sa­tions tak­ing place on Satur­day and Sun­day, the speak­ers will ex­plore the ex­tra­or­di­nary con­nec­tions be­tween Scotland, the vil­lage of Brae­mar, Harper’s Bazaar and The Fife Arms.
